All pujas are performed at Shri Shri Vidhya Dham — a consecrated and powerful spiritual space. You join live on video call and witness every moment. The Vedas themselves confirm: Sankalp and Mantra are the essence of puja, not physical presence.
What is Sankalp and how is it done for online puja? +
Sankalp is the sacred intention-setting done at the beginning of every puja. Pandit Ji takes your full name, gotra (lineage), city and purpose of the puja and includes it in the Sankalp mantras. This personally connects you — the devotee — to the puja being performed, no matter where you are in the world. Please share your name and gotra when booking.
What if I don't know my gotra? +
No problem at all. If you are unsure of your gotra, Pandit Ji will use "Kashyap Gotra" which is considered the universal gotra for all devotees. Just let us know when booking and we will handle it.
Will I receive a video of my puja? +
Yes. After the puja is complete, the full video recording is sent directly to your WhatsApp. You can watch it again, share it with family members and keep it as a sacred memory. Many NRI devotees treasure these videos and share them with their parents and relatives in India.
Which app is used for the video call puja? +
We use WhatsApp Video Call or Zoom — whichever is convenient for you. For large family gatherings such as Bhagwat Katha, we can also do a YouTube Live so your entire community can join from different locations simultaneously.

For most pujas, all samagri (puja materials) is arranged at Shri Shri Vidhya Dham. Pandit Ji may sometimes suggest a few simple items to keep at home like a deepak (lamp), incense and flowers — this helps you participate in the puja as a devotee. You will be guided on WhatsApp before the puja date.
